Our Story

Rough Cut Sawmill is a new division of Tree Beavers LLC, Colorado’s premier land clearing and reclamation company. Tree Beavers specializes in restoring land that has been decimated by fires, storms, and other natural disasters, which often attracts heavy pine beetle infestations. While most material is mulched and regraded into the soil to promote natural regeneration, we have begun hand selecting premium pieces that have been “blue stained” by the pine beetle. All pieces have a jaw-droppingly beautiful blue coloring, and many have hints or reds, purples, oranges and more. We only select the rare pieces that we can see “glowing” from a distance, which means our limited inventory is quite literally, one-in-a-million.
